Funwhole Newsstand and Monkie Kid Mashup?

Hmm,  I wonder if I should make a modular building out of the two sets?  On the lower level is the Funwhole Newsstand and on top of that is the Hotpot Restaurant from the King brand Monkie Kid City of Lanterns set.

Here are my reviews for both sets.

Here are some of my thoughts.  I'd have to build a staircase to access the second floor hotpot restaurant.  The front door would have to be moved to the back and filled in with another window.  I'd have to reduce the width of the Funwhole Newsstand by one or two studs.  Then I'd need to refit the whole thing onto a standard 16x32 baseplate.

Would need all new floors and walls to give this building some depth and furnish the interior of the restaurant.

Let me know if I should pursue this as a project or try something else instead?  Thanks for looking!

All Hands on Deck!

It's a fact that every time you buy a bootleg minifigure, they always give you an extra hand.  Why can't they give you an extra leg or torso or head?  Why just a hand?  Anybody have any ideas what one is to do with all these hands?

Happy Halloween 2023!

Hi There, fans of the brick!  Just sharing my pictures of my little display for Halloween in 2023.

I thought that the Funwhole Wood cabin makes a nice little haunted house.

Here's some creepy looking mini figures from my collection.  Do you recognize any of them?

In front of the veranda, there's some giant spiderwebs and a lot of scary pumpkin heads (from Temu). Ghost Rider makes a cameo on the front steps.

At the side of the house I have made a little cemetary with tombstones.

That's it, hope you have a very scary Halloween!  Bye!
