I was removing the JMBricklayer mechanical dinosaur set from my shelf to free up some space. The dinosaur model attaches to a base comprised of tan coloured bricks. I have plans to use the base as a desert island in other of my dioramas.
So I flipped the dinosaur over on the floor to remove the base and what's funny was the legs were still sticking up in the air. My first thought was that it looked like some fresh roadkill and I was thinking about taking a picture as it was with a caption of Dino Roadkill.
The flipped over dinosaur also looked like a bit like a dog when you pet its belly. So then the idea came to me to use one of the JMBricklayer astronauts to mimic someone petting or playing with their pet dinosaur. And that's how this picture came about.
